Soft Fluffy hair
The FGF2 gene and its variants will give a dog either short hair, or long soft hair. Jax opted for the latter and as a result his fur is very soft and silky. Leaving a nice shine to his coat!
Speckled Paws & White Blaze
When dogs inherit one copy of the white-spotting MITF gene variant, they typically have some white on their feet, chest, face and tip of the tail. Jax comes from a lineage of dogs with speckled patterns. Our little buddy is highly pigmented and his speckled paws are faint. He carries his MITF gene variant proudly on his chest, with his rockstar white blaze!
